Mont-Saint-Hilaire Residence
This residence, located on the edge of the Richelieu River, opens onto an outdoor living space and views of the water. The extension of the roof where the interior and exterior intersect creates a bridge space where various relaxation and reception areas are arranged. It is with respect for the existing environment that mature trees coexist with this new home to offer a feeling of a Californian oasis to the occupants.
The procession through the house is characterized by large open spaces which are demarcated by the level interplay. A variety of architectural interventions allows all the rooms of the large residence to benefit from natural light.
